Funny seeing you here.
Alright, let's get the formalities out of the way. My name is Meagan Hamilton, and I'm twenty-two years old. I'm a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in strategic and creative advertising. Why advertising? It's a long story, but maybe I'll tell you soon. What else would you like to know? Let’s see—my all-time top five favorite songs are as follows:
1. Someday by The Strokes
2. Going Gets Tough by The Growlers
3. Portions for Foxes by Rilo Kiley
4. Keep Your Head Up by Ben Howard
5. At Least I'm Pretty by Harriette
I was born on June 13th (a Friday), making me a Gemini, so do what you will with that information. For the record, I don’t believe in astrology. Though, what I do believe in is personality tests. A passion that stems from my high school sociology teacher, Mr. Doyle. We used to stay after school, exploring and taking new ones. If you’re wondering, I am a color blue, a four-wing three, and an ENFJ (Myers-Briggs being my favorite test). I understand that not everyone finds labels and boxes productive, but I love organization. Especially discovering what personalities, flaws, and quirks all flow together to create trends and patterns.
This produces someone designed for strategic advertising—well, at least that’s what Mr. Doyle said during my sophomore year of high school. Oh, that is my, "why advertising?" story. Well, I did promise that I would tell you soon! Hmm, maybe too soon.
Anyways, thank you, Mr. Doyle, for always keeping your classroom door open; you are why I am who I am today.
